I made us a Facebook group, right now, it’s just me in there. If you want to join, request an invite here!
In which we start a weekly raffle, because prizes are fantastic!
Here is the awesome raffle info for The Auction House:
We have a weekly raffle. It’s 100 gold per entry, and guildies may enter as many times as they want! The raffle helps us get the gold for our guild trader bid. If you want to enter the raffle, send the gold for your tickets to me, @ACsquared and I’ll respond (normally within 24 hours) with your ticket numbers. You don’t have to keep the numbers, as I have a fun spreadsheet right here that tells me all the numbers for the week!
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Arr3kNxdRX6ydEVOblRhLUQyMVBBb0FFZk1TOXIyVXc&usp=sharing
Every week the raffle ends on Sunday night, and the drawing is on Monday. The time varies, based on maintenance, and you DO NOT have to be present to win! I send a weekly mail that tells everyone the lucky winners and what the prizes for next week are!
This week the raffle prizes are
1) barbaric motif
2) 15,000 gold
3) a yellow glyph of your choosing, crafted by me!
ESO The Wailing Maw Skyshard in Coldharbor has moved – Here’s the new spot
I spent forever looking for this one, with the new patch the skyshard went from downstairs to upstairs. Here’s the new locale:
(CLICK ON IMAGE TO SEE FULL SIZE)
So, it’s upstairs, in a pile of huge icicles, and being guarded by a Frost Atronach guy (sp?).
Kill the giant Frostie, he’s in the side of the room, and the skyshard is right there where he was. It’s the second large room upon entrance of the Wailing Maw.
ESO Dyes: Bronze (RARE)
I discovered the color bronze. This toon is Elayne. She has all rare colorson and is wearing the Magnus set and the Whitestrake set.
BRONZE – Ebonheart Master Explorer
Superior Blue – Superior Attire Achievement
Warlord’s Red – Alliance War Warlord’s Achievement
Loving this! Dyes are awesome! I think the Bronze is my new favorite!
Here are the set bonuses for her:
The Auction House Guild Tabard!
ESO Dyes – They’re here, and they are fantastic!
So we finally have the much anticipated ESO update 1.3, you know, the guild one and the dye one.
It turns out the guild update made it so that everyone had access to their guild banks, or at least that’s what I read in the zone gossip, so guilds have now been disabled.
THEY WILL BE BACK!
Honest, your guilds will return very soon, I’m sure.
Oh, and purple recipe drop rates have increased. No more 800K for honey brittle.
The dyes, however, I was able to play with. I’m loving the colors. They said they were going to go back on the 47 new achievements they made and give you credit if you had done them, but it looks like there were some achievements where that didn’t happen. I have a bunch of places that I have to head back to and hope the achievement unlocks.
Also, it looks like some of the fishing colors are great. Expect to see a lot of people fishing soon! It’s easy to tell where the dye stations are… just look for the crowd. There is a dye station in most major cities. Open the map and explore – many are near the alchemy.
The dye screen is super simple. It there’s a lock over the color you haven’t unlocked that color yet. You can click on it to check out how you unlock it.
If you like the colors you chose, you can set them and save them, so your toon can easily apply that color scheme with their next armor.
The dyes you have unlocked are per account, although I think the saved color scheme is per toon.
You can also randomize the colors chosen. The game will randomly chose three colors and apply the same to all your armor.
No, it won’t apply three colors to one item, then a different three to another item when you hit randomize.
Although some of the dyes chosen are… interesting, to say the least.
I will now show you my fantastically detailed toons new colors.
Let’s start with my main, who is a level 47:
I obviously have a favorite color scheme, here’s my 34 toon:
My other alts are all levels 12 – 6, and the dye station was glitching for some of them so I was unable to change their gear. Here’s what the toons who were dyed look like now:
And I’ll start doing the ESO Radio show soon, I just will be doing it alone since no one wants to game with me.
ESO Motifs – What different racial armor looks like
I had originally added this to my blacksmith guide, but it was too disorganized. I know, I’m horrible with layouts. Here is what the different armor motifs look like in Elder Scrolls Online in the following order Altmer (High Elves), Argonian (Saxhleel), Bosmer (Wood Elves), Breton (Human), Khajiit (Feline), and Orc (these are the only motifs I found during beta). If you have images of other motifs I would love to add them to the guide!
Altmer Iron Armor – Level 1 – Heavy Armor (these all have the same pants as I was out of mats)
Altmer Iron Armor Level 14 (the highest my character was able to make during beta) – Heavy Armor
Alter Rawhide Armor Level 1 – Medium Armor
Altmer Rawhide Armor Level 14 – Medium Armor
Altmer Jute Armor Level 1 – Light Armor
Altmer Jute Armor Level 14 – Light Armor

Breton Iron Armor Level 1 – Heavy Armor
Breton Iron Armor Level 14 – Heavy Armor

Orc Rawhide Armor Level 1 – Medium Armor
Orc Rawhide Armor Level 14 – Medium Armor
Orc Jute Armor Level 1 – Light Armor
Orc Jute Armor Level 14 – Light Armor
As you can see, these are all female characters. If you have images of a male character wearing the same gear, add them in the comments or send them to us so we can add them to this guide. As we get the rest of the motifs, they’ll be added here as well!

ESO Lockpicking Guide
Open the way to extra loot. Unlock new possibilities!
Lockpicking: It’s so easy a Nord can do it.
In chests, drawers, cabinets, behind doors, there are oodles of loot for you to find if you only had the key. But that’s no obstacle to an intrepid adventurer of Tamriel. With good eyes and a quick finger you can bypass these simple obstacles to greater wealth.
ESO Crafting – Elder Scrolls Online Blacksmithing / Basics Tutorial
Blacksmithing – A Key to Success in Tamriel
Blacksmithing is an important skill for every adventurer in Tamriel to develop. With Blacksmithing, you can give yourself an edge in armor and weapons. Typically, only items such as rare drops from mobs will provide better stats than a well crafted item. Historically in Elder Scrolls, with enough skill in crafting, one can even outperform these rare drops and even Daedric artifacts!
